Wer steckt hinter EPOS?
Zoë Straub
A young, enchanting woman, first the Princess of Worms and later the Queen of Xanten. She experiences numerous injustices over the course of the musical. Starting out as an innocent girl, she develops into a powerful woman by the end of the story. She puts everything on the line and even sacrifices her life to avenge her husband's death and bring the men responsible to justice.
Brünhild
Brünhild is a Valkyrie and the ruling queen of Iceland. Combining striking beauty with majestic stature, she embodies both leadership and warrior strength. Initially an invincible force, Brünhild's invulnerability suffers a setback when she is betrayed, deceived, and humiliated. This trial drains her of spirit and power, with partial revival through an act driven by vengeance. Eventually, like Kriemhild, she too recognizes the shared wrongs done to them by the same men. This realization marks a turning point.
Siegfried
Siegfried embodies the archetypal image of the "pretty boy" with his tall, strong stature and blond hair. Despite his role as a conventional hero in the original story, he is under scrutiny in EPOS due to his extremely questionable actions.
